Bridal and events

A calm room on a loud morning

We work backwards from the time you need to be in the car, and we build in the slack that mornings like this always need.

The trial

One trial, six to eight weeks out, in the room you will get ready in if that is possible. We work through up to three directions and photograph each one.

You leave with notes, the pin count and the products used. Nothing about the morning is improvised after that.

The run sheet

  • Two hours before ready by

We arrive, set up in the room with the best light, and start with the party.

  • One hour before

The bride goes in the chair. Hair first, makeup second, so nothing is disturbed.

  • Twenty minutes before

Veil placed, pins checked, photographs from every angle for your reference.

  • Ready by

A last blot, a lip, and we pack down while you leave. The room goes back as we found it.

Group sizing

One stylist can carry up to five people comfortably, including the bride. Past that we bring a second stylist so nobody sits around finished for two hours.

Hair and makeup together for more than four people is always two of us, working in sequence.

Early starts and travel

  • Early start

Starts before 6am carry a surcharge per stylist. Between 6am and 7am the surcharge is half that. From 7am there is none.

  • Regional travel

Outside greater Sydney we quote travel at a per kilometre rate. Where the ceremony time means leaving before 4am, accommodation the night before is quoted instead and is usually cheaper.

  • Public holidays

A surcharge applies on public holidays and on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. It is shown on your quote.

Package structures

  • Bride only

    Trial plus the day.

    • One trial of up to three directions, six to eight weeks out
    • Written notes and photographs from every angle
    • Styling on the day with a touch up before you leave
    • A small pin kit left with you

Quoted as the trial plus the day. Both figures are on your quote before you pay a deposit.

  • Bride and party

Trial for the bride, plus per person styling on the day.

    • Bridal trial
    • Per person styling for the party, priced by style rather than a flat head count
    • A run sheet built backwards from your ready by time
    • A second stylist once the party passes five people

Per person, with a minimum booking value on Saturdays. The run sheet and the total are agreed before the deposit.

  • Hair and makeup

One team in the room for both.

    • Hair and makeup trial in the same visit
    • Both on the day, sequenced so nobody waits
    • Lashes if you want them
    • A blot and a lip left with the bride

Quoted as a combined package. Smaller parties often need only one stylist, which brings the total down.

Enquire

The more of this you can answer now, the closer the first quote will be to the final one.
