Cancellation
Cancellation and deposits
These terms decide whether a client keeps their money, so they have to come from the business owner.
A cancellation and deposit policy is enforceable only if it is fair under Australian Consumer Law and shown to the client before they pay. We are not going to invent the notice periods or the amounts, because a client would be held to whatever appears here.
The decisions we need from the business: the deposit amount or percentage and which bookings require one, the notice period for a full refund, the notice period after which the deposit is kept, what happens for a same day cancellation or a no show, how bridal deposits differ, and what happens when the stylist has to cancel.
Once those are confirmed, the terms will be shown on this page and again inside the booking flow before any payment is taken.
Owner action needed: confirm the notice periods and deposit amounts. Until then this page stays out of search results.
